Hi, JOLLY TIME fans.

When I was growing up, family time was different. More simple. You got together, you shared a meal, you pulled out a deck of cards or a board game, and enjoyed a few moments together. I have great memories of these times.

Today, I’m part of the fourth generation of the JOLLY TIME family, raising the fifth generation. And I’ve noticed that everyone, parents and kids both, are a lot busier. Plus there are more distractions than ever, lots of times on those little gadgets with even littler screens. We’re paying an awful lot of attention to our phones, and less and less to the faces and voices of the people around us.

I don’t know much, but I do know this: We really can find ways to reconnect with our families. It doesn’t have to be a big vacation or expensive getaways—it can be as simple as ten minutes together at the kitchen table. At our house, that usually means a big bowl of popcorn on the table, because it has a magical power of getting everyone in the house to gather in one place.

So, we at JOLLY TIME have come up with Unplug. POP. Connect to help families across the country. It’s all about putting down our phones and spending some real time with folks we love. Seeing eye-to-eye, talking vs. texting, actually laughing with each other instead of typing LOL or ROTFL, and just reconnecting in person, in real time. Please check out Unplug. POP. Connect. and let me know what you think.

Let’s start popping up some unplugged, unforgettable moments, together.

Pop on,
