I taught my son to pop popcorn from scratch on the stove and now that is the only way he likes it. We experiment with different oils and spices. We have so much fun cooking together and actually talking to each other.
I pledge to have POP Moments at mealtimes. Also, between the hours of six and eight pm, no computer time, phone, or video games!
I'm going to turn off my phone and the TV, pop up a snack, and have a book reading marathon on the living room floor with my 4 and 6 year old boys. Mama's undivided attention + popcorn + books = a perfect summer evening.
Have a real conversation while taking a walk, leave the phones behind!
Lay in bed with doggie Sparkie and eat popcorn while watching TV.
Get that box of loose pictures and finally take the time to put them in photo albums.
I pledge to roadtrip with the windows down playing music & hanging out with friends. There might even be feet out the windows.
I stepped over to turn a movie on while the freshly popped popcorn sat on the counter. The kids were into the popcorn before long. I had a good laugh and we enjoyed our time together (and made another batch!)
I will serve popcorn as a vegetable during my next family meal, because after-all, it is a vegetable! LOL!

Funny story. We received the canvas bags and gave one to our 27-yr-old son who was visiting. He immediately put his phone in the bag and it was almost 24 hours before he could remember where it was! Guess the bag works!!!

My POP Moment was having a popcorn fight with my kids. we have never laughed so hard at each other. I'm still finding popcorn..Love it

I made a popcorn and toppings buffet. The kids loved drizzled chocolate on their popcorn....with sprinkles!

Jolly Time popcorn is great anytime, but especially yummy when family is watching any sporting event, either on the TV screen or on the field.

Every Thursday my family unplugs and has pizza and popcorn by the fire and we talk about our day and what's going on in our lives!
i will be having the kids go hunting for snack bags of popcorn that I hid around the house. It will be good exercise and Ii will let them know if they are "hot or cold."
Have the kids make popcorn the old fashion way and have them pick what they want added, butter, caramel, chocolate etc.

My husband and I turned off our phones, popped in a scary movie, and enjoyed some JollyTime as we curled up on the couch. After the movie, we kept our phones off and just had an actual conversation. About jobs, finances, dinners, and family. I find myself looking forward to Fridays. We've dubbed it "Phones Off Fridays!"
A nice drive in the country, no radio, just a chance to talk.

My dog and I have POP moments 3-4 times a week. She sits by the microwave waiting for it to stop.
